We are Petaluma Psychotherapy Associates, a group practice established in 1979, with offices in Petaluma, Santa Rosa and Berkeley. As a group, we cross-consult and cross-refer, so our clients are able to benefit from a variety of specialties and viewpoints. We have a team approach to situations that require multiple therapists or modalities, such as adolescent, family or couples therapy.

We maintain an in-depth perspective, whether working in a longterm or more limited time frame. We believe in the uniqueness of each individual and in the individual’s basic wish for wholeness. From our experience we know that psychotherapy can provide a deeper meaning in life, a greater sense of vitality, enjoyment and creativity. We believe that there is more to life than simply existing, that a person must care for a soul as well as a body.

I enjoy helping people to feel understood, more free to express themselves and more resilient to life’s ups and downs.  I work with couples in crisis, adolescents and families struggling with growing pains and individuals who are searching for deeper meaning and more satisfying closeness with others.

I teach classes in adolescent development at Sonoma State University extension and write articles for couples on my website
www.creating-loving-relationships.com.  I have been a psychotherapist for 30 years, working in agencies and in private practice.
